Illinois FFA recognizes the importance of global agriculture and how experiential learning through international travel can cultivate a global mindset. We are excited to announce the FFA Advisor International Travel Grant, made possible through the Lyle E. Orwig Endowment.
This grant is designed to help FFA advisors like you experience agriculture on a global level. Whether through National FFA Organization programs or other agricultural or educational organizations, this funding aims to support your chosen international travel experience and enrich your understanding of global agriculture.
Grant Details
The FFA Advisor International Travel Grant provides up to $1,000 to help offset the cost of attending an agriculturally focused international experience. Funding will be based on availability, demonstrated need, and the type of experience expected.
Timeline of Activities
Application Launched: October 2
Application Deadline: Saturday, November 15
Grant Announcements: December 5
Final Acceptance: December 15
Selection Criteria
Priority will be given to those who have not previously traveled internationally.
Applications will be evaluated based on responses to key questions and desired outcomes from the trip.
Travel must occur between January 2026 and December 2026.
